Fighting for the best results for you

Susan Cohen will  help you decide if you have Employment Law claims that you can pursue, and she will pursue every reasonable option to ensure you receive the best possible resolution to your case. Many Employment Discrimination Claims, and claims regarding Wages and Hours, or Health and Safety issues can be resolved through negotiations.  All Employment Discrimination cases, and many Wages and Hours Issues or Workplace Safety Issues, must be submitted to California or Federal Agencies for investigation before you can have the right to file a case in either the Federal Courts or in the California Courts.  The only exception is Equal Pay Act Claims, dealing with Wage Discrimination.  But since most Equal Pay Act Claims also have related Discrimination Law Issues, you will probably need to go through the EEOC or the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing to get a Right to Sue Letter, so that you can recover for all of your claims if you need to file a lawsuit.  Susan Cohen will work with you to find the best resolution for your Employment Law Concerns, and to help you to decide whether you should file your employment law case in either a Federal Court, or in the California Courts.  She can help you to decide what steps you need to take to get the best outcome for your case.
